Adam Kemp currently lives in Boardman but was born and raised in Youngstown where he attended Chaney High School having lettered 3 years in both soccer and track. After high school he played soccer for the Youngstown State Men’s soccer club for 3 years.
Adam has been coaching youth competitive sports for a combined 15 years, primarily in soccer within Canfield Soccer Club / FC Canfield and 1 year in Lacrosse for Canfield Middle School Lacrosse Club. He holds Ohio youth soccer coaches license and is a Grade 7 licensed Ohio Soccer Referee. He has completed US Lacrosse courses and is currently pursuing his US Lacrosse Level 1 Certification.
He has been married to Stephanie Kemp for 26 years. They have 3 children; Brooke who is a Canfield graduate and currently attends Youngstown State University, Brandon who is a Canfield graduate, and Dylan who is a sophomore at Canfield and plays both high school soccer and lacrosse. Professionally, Adam is the Vice President of Engineering at Haltec Corporation in Leetonia, OH.
Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State, Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University, Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
Dylan Ciolino grew up in Long Island, NY where he was introduced to the sport of lacrosse at the age of 5. He attended Sachem North High School where he was a 4 year letterman and Captain of the Lacrosse team. After High school, he continued his academic and Goalie career at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. During his time at Walsh, he was a 4 year letterman and 3 year Captain. He also earned All Conference honors in 2014 & 2017 and Conference Goalie of the year in 2017. He ended his career earning three school records for most saves in a game, most saves in a season, and most saves in a career. Dylan graduated from Walsh with a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications.
After graduation, Dylan moved to the Youngstown area with his wife Julie and their Daughter Mila. He currently works for Kimball Midwest as a salesman and coached the Canfield Middle School 8th grade team in 2022. He was also an Assistant at the high school in 2018 & 2019. Dylan started a travel Lacrosse program in 2021, Team 224, with the goal to grow the sport in the Youngstown area and provide athletes with opportunities to connect with college lacrosse programs.
MeLynda Guerrieri currently lives in Canfield but spent her middle and high school years in Virginia. She played basketball and lettered 4 years.
MeLynda has been the Canfield girl’s lacrosse coach since 2017, leading them to very successful seasons. Multiple students have continued their lacrosse career in college, some with scholarships!
She has been married to Michael Guerrieri for 25 years. They have 3 children; Noah who attends Bowling Green University, Gianna who attends Youngstown State University, and Mara who is currently a goalie at Seton Hill University. She is a member of St Christine Parish and has taught multiple subjects at Canfield for 23 years. Currently she teaches 5th grade math.
Education: BS Geology with Minor in Civil Engineering Youngstown State University, BS Education YSU, Masters in Curriculum and Education from Ashland University.
Megan Tyson grew up in Santa Clarita, CA. While growing up there, she played soccer year round but was introduced to the sport of lacrosse at a young age due to her father’s involvement in the sport. Her 10th grade year of high school, she moved across the country to Struthers where she continued her education and soccer at Struthers High School.
At the age of 15, Megan finally decided to sign up for lacrosse with the Poland High School Club. During her remaining years of high school, she lettered in soccer every season, got an All-Star title, was named MVP and was one of the top scorers all 3 years of lacrosse.
Megan has been involved in the sport of lacrosse in many different ways since she started playing. After high school, she was recruited for the YSU Women’s Lacrosse Club and was a part of them all 4 years of college. She also got involved in coaching her freshman year of college. She started coaching the Canfield Middle School program for a couple years, then had an opportunity to switch to Boardman Middle School to grow the sport there and was there for 3 seasons.
Over the years, she has been involved in many camps and training opportunities. Currently, Megan is pursuing a career in the veterinary field as a Veterinary Technician. She is currently looking for ways to expand herself in this career and in her education.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry and French.
